Killer Clowns From Outer Space is a 1988 horror movie, but with very comical undertones. The movie takes place in a small town, where aliens land and wreak havoc on the population. The aliens look like scary circus clowns and their spaceship is a run-down looking circus tent. The main characters in the movie are two teens, Mike (Grant Cramer) and Debbie (Suzanne Snyder). They are the first to meet the clowns and try to warn the rest of the town, but like in all classic horror films, no one believes them. The clowns make it to the town and start capturing people to take them to their ship as prisoners. Once on board, they wrap up the humans in something like cotton candy and are later devoured by the clowns, just as a spider eats their prey. Their weapons, including killer puppets, their vehicles, and antics are amusing and keep you wanting to see more. You may not have nightmares after viewing this film, but it's definitely great for a few laughs.moreless
