King Kong vs. Godzilla pits the two greatest movie monster titans against each other for the first time in this Japanese cult classic. Created as part of Toho Studios' 30th anniversary celebration, King Kong vs. Godzilla brought both legendary creatures to the big screen in color and in widescreen for the first time. In this film, Mr. Tako, (Ichiro Arishima) decides to travel to Faro Island to bring King Kong back to mainland Japan in order to boost the ratings for the shows that his company, Pacific Pharmaceuticals, sponsors. Meanwhile, an American submarine crashes into the iceberg that imprisons Godzilla, allowing it to escape. King Kong vs. Godzilla brings the most iconic of cinematic creatures to life and pits them against each other in some of the most titanic battles in the history of film. If you are a fan of either of these movie greats, or a fan of great movie monster action in general, look no farther than this classic.moreless
