Movie Summary

Chris Nahon

The film follows Liu Jian, a police officer from China, as he travels to Paris to assist the vice squad. They are trying to catch a Chinese drug lord, Mr. Big, who Jian knows, and his unknown French connection. It turns out that connection is the head of the vice squad, Inspector Richard, who plans to frame Jian for the killing of Mr. Big. To survive, Jian joins forces with Jessica, an American woman working as a hooker for Richard. She wants to free her daughter from the orphanage where Richard keeps her sequestered. Jian uses cutting-edge martial arts to battle Richard and his henchmen, showcasing the best of Asian action cinema. Kiss of the Dragon is an excellent action film that seamlessly integrates fight scenes into the narrative of the movie.
