Kiss the Bride is a romantic drama film directed by Vanessa Parise that centers on the first Sposato wedding, one that bids to become a tumultuous family reunion as the other three sisters come home in an attempt to one up the others. Traditional and considerate Danni (Amanda Detmer) had thought her wedding to Geoffrey (Johnathon Schaech) in Westerly, Rhode Island would have been a traditional Italian-style family wedding with all her family together. But when each of her sisters bring home more than a wedding gift, her longing for a comfortable wedding goes down the drain. Her oldest sister Nikki (Brooke Langton) is a successful TV star who tries to stay in the center of attention by bringing home not only her cutthroat agent and non-Italian, Jewish boyfriend Marty (Johnny Whitworth) to meet the parents, Irena and Santo (Talia Shire and Burt Young). Middle sister Chrissy (Vanessa Parise) spends her time married to her job and brings home a Porsche to awe her family. Youngest Toni (Monet Mazur) is successful in her wild rock Ôn roll stardom and brings home her girlfriend Amy Kayne (Alyssa Milano) in a bid to shock. As her sisters struggle with their attention-grabbing antics, Danni finally gains the strength to tell her sisters to get over themselves.moreless
