Kissin' Cousins is a 1964 musical romantic comedy directed by Gene Nelson. Josh Morgan (Elvis Presley) is a military officer with a strange assignment. It turns out that he has a cousin, Jodie Tatum (Elvis Presley), who owns land in the Tennessee mountains. Since the army needs the land to use as a missile site, it is up to Josh to approach his country cousin and convince him to sell off his beloved land for the good of the U.S. military. Confusingly, Josh and Jodie look almost identical except for their distinctive hair colors. Josh has dark locks and Jodie is blonde. While Josh is visiting Jodie, he also runs into a few other relatives, including Ma Tatum (Glenda Farrell), Pappy Tatum (Arthur O'Connell), cousin Selena (Pamela Austin) and cousin Azalea (Yvonne Craig). Although Jodie and the rest of the Tatums are none too happy about Josh's offer, Azalea and Selena seem happy to help their handsome cousin feel at home. By the time his visit is over, many unexpected developments have taken place.
