Kitchen Party is a 1997 comedy directed and written by Gary Burns. In the film, Scott (Scott Speedman) is getting ready to leave for college. Before he leaves home, he wants to have sex with his girlfriend, Tammy (Laura Harris). When his parents go out for the evening, Scott and his buddy, Wayne (Tygh Runyan), decide to have a house-party at Scott's house. Unfortunately for the boys, Scott's parents have extremely stringent rules when it comes to maintaining the perfect carpet in their home. The only way they can have a party without them knowing is if they restrict it to the only tiled room in the house, the kitchen. Soon the kitchen is full of drugs, alcohol, music and women, and for a few moments that party seems to be a success. However, unexpected events and guests begin to create potentially disastrous problems and Scott must deal with those issues instead of seducing his girlfriend.
