Knockabout is a film by director Sammo Hung which mixes together kung fu action and over-the-top comedy, creating one of the all time great Hong Kong action films. Little John (Yuen Biao) and Big John (Leung Kar Yan) are brothers who have to resort to cheating and stealing in order to eat. They try to set up, Silver Fox (Lau Kar Wing), who, unfortunately, turns out to be a kung fu master and he proceeds to soundly beat the two brothers. Eventually, Silver Fox takes the two brothers on as his students and teaches them his craft. But their teacher is not everything he seems, and the brothers soon find themselves in over their heads. Bringing together a legendary star of Hong Kong action films, Hung, and one of the "hidden" stars of the genre, Biao, Knockabout utilizes both actors' masterful acrobatic abilities in intricate action sequences sure to thrill any fan of the genre.moreless
