Koreatown covers just three square miles in Los Angeles, but inside the neighborhood, prostitution, drugs and human trafficking threaten Kimberly's (Megan Stewart) life. Her estranged father Cowboy (Tim Lovelance) recently finished a 15-year federal prison sentence. When he gets out, he goes in search of Kimberly (Megan Stewart). Longtime friend Detective Baker (David E. Baker) offers to help Cowboy find his daughter. The trail leads them to Koreatown and the criminal network led by drug lord Joachim (Daz Crawford). Joachim and femme fatale Lolly (Karin Kim) took Kimberly in and raised her as their own. She was forced into the world of prostitution and drugs. Cowboy is racing against time to rescue Kimberly after learning he is suffering from terminal cancer. Digging deeper into the past, Cowboy finds Joachim has played a role in his own past. The film mixes action with emotional drama in what some have called a "shoot-'em up-love story." The independent film was shot on location in Lost Angeles.moreless
