Ladron Que Roba a Ladron is a 2007 comedy about a heist gone wrong. To the average observer, Moctesuma Valdez (Saul Lisazo) looks like a successful business man. His name is a common household word to most Latin immigrants in the Los Angeles area. His former colleagues, however, recognize Moctesuma for what he is: a thief. Moctesuma has raked in a fortune by preying on recent immigrants and selling them useless snake oil. With a modern twist on the Robin Hood story, Emilio (Miguel Varoni), a con man and immigrant, decides to take on the challenge of stealing Moctesuma's vast wealth. He assembles a team of immigrants, all eager to exact revenge on Moctesuma and use the stolen wealth to set up their own lives in Los Angeles. Along with his team and his good friend, Alejandro (Fernando Colunga), Emilio prepares for what could be either the greatest victory or most disastrous failure of his career.moreless
