Laffapalooza! #6

Movie Summary

Director:
Linda Mendoza
Released:
2005

Laffapalooza! #6 brings Academy Award winner Jamie Foxx and friends to Atlanta for a night of urban stand-up laughter. Before Jamie Foxx won the Oscar, the urban comedy show Living Color and stand-up rooms across the nation flaunted his comedy skits. This sixth version of Laffapalooza! records Jamie's return to stand-up. Watch Gerald Kelly's 30 minute comical rant about life in the hood and see Brooklyn's funny-man Will Sylvince do his famous 'if I kill you' Def Jam comedy routine. Geoff Brown also joins this urban comedy cast promoting opera in the hood and complaining about his old uncle Snookie. Speedy gives his advice on dating white and black women and Saturday Night Live's funny man JB Smoove talks about a ghetto circus. Isiah Kelly asks, 'Who got jokes?' and Beji Brown tells everyone how to start and watch girl fights. The film's comedian ensemble shows what happens at typical inner-city laugh-off.
