Lakeview Terrace is a 2009 Sony Pictures thriller. In Lakeview Terrace (2008), Samuel L. Jackson (Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Die Hard With A Vengeance, Jurassic Park, Unbreakable, The Negotiator, Goodfellas, Coming To America, Changing Lanes, Eve's Bayou, Black Snake Moan) is Abel Turner, a LAPD police officer, who has some issues with his new neighbors, who happen to be an interracial couple. New to the neighborhood are Lisa Mattson (Kerry Washington, I Think I Love My Wife), who is African American, and from Oakland, and her husband Chris (Patrick Wilson, Hard Candy, Phantom of the Opera, The A-Team), who is from Chicago, and is white. Unfortunately, there will be trouble between these neighbors. But how extreme will it get? Directed by Neil LaBute (In the Company of Men, Nurse Betty, The Wicker Man, Death at a Funeral) and written by David Loughery (Dreamscape, Star Trek V, Passenger 57, The Three Musketeers) this racially tense thriller snaps, crackles and pops.moreless
