Lara Croft is a beautiful and wealthy archaeologist who goes on a quest for an ancient artifact called the Triangle that has tremendous destructive capabilities. Daniel Craig plays Alex West, a fellow adventurer who is also searching for The Triangle. Alex and Lara share a mutual attraction, but Lara can't stand Alex's methods. Whereas she seeks out artifacts to preserve history and further her knowledge, Alex pillages tombs for monetary gain and is willing to employ any means necessary to reach his goals. As her adventure continues, she realizes the power of the Triangle has attracted the attention of several criminal adversaries, and it will take all her skill to prevent the Triangle's power from falling into the wrong hands.
