Last Woman On Earth is a science fiction tale of romantic entanglement about a trio of people that are left after all the Earth's inhabitants are killed. While scuba diving off the coast of Puerto Rico, Harold Jern (Antony Carbone), his wife Evelyn (Betsy Jones-Moreland), and his lawyer Martin (Edward Wain), unknowingly survive a catastrophic event that kills the rest of the world. On an otherwise normal afternoon, the three vacationers are happily exploring the ocean when a temporary oxygen shortage suddenly strikes, and the entire population of the resort island is killed. But as the trio of survivors begin to realize they are perhaps last people left in the world, and more importantly, that Evelyn is the last woman left, the friends start to undergo internal strife. Martin starts to show interest in his client's other half, and a twisted tale of bravado and romance ensues as both men try to permanently secure Evelyn's affection. Roger Corman directs this campy and sexy romp.moreless
