Latino Comedy Series: Vol. 2 is the follow-up to the hit compilation featuring the hottest voices in Latino comedy. This edition, filmed at the Ice House comedy club in Pasadena, California, brings three young, english-speaking comics to the stage. Hosted by veteran standup Jeff Garcia, the video spotlights Marilyn Martinez, Patrick DeGuire, and Andres Fernandez. Martinez is a self-deprecating lady with a unique take on relationships. Sadly, not long after taping this performance, Martinez died of colon cancer. DeGuire is a very unique comedian. Rendered nearly blind by a condition called optic neurotitis, Deguire makes light of his condition. In his performance, he tries to demonstrate the old maxim that laughter truly is the best medicine. Lastly, Fernandez is a native New Yorker who draws on his experiences with his family growing there to create his unique brand of humor. If you are a comedy fan, then Latino Comedy Series: Vol. 2 is for you.
