Laurel and Hardy is a collection of short movies starring one of early film's most recognizable comedic duos: Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy. In 1933's Sons of the Desert, we find our pair joining a fraternal organization similar to the Shriners, but run into trouble when their wives don't want them to attend the group's annual convention. In 1932's The Music Box, the duo have been hired to deliver an expensive player piano, but run into a seemingly insurmountable obstacle when they discover they must get it up a large staircase. In 1930's Another Fine Mess, they find themselves as vagrants living inside of an abandoned mansion, and must impersonate the owners when visitors show up. In 1933's Busy Bodies, Stan and Ollie struggle to get by as workers in a sawmill where the machines refuse to cooperate with them. Finally, in 1932's County Hospital, Ollie is in a hospital with a broken leg, but that is the least of his worries when Stan comes to visit. These are just a few of the shorts found in this collection.moreless
