The job was supposed to be temporary, but nothing better has come along so she has had to stay there. However, the cafe owner is involved with several political groups interested in making the natives of the area restless. When Nona becomes entangled in the cafe owner's actions, she must try to escape by running away from the cafe and in to the jungle. Luckily for her, she meets up with an American explorer, Larry Mason (John "Dusty" King), his servant, Jeff (Mantan Moreland), and his safari. Mason is unaware of what is happening in the area and surprised by Nona's sudden appearance in the jungle. Nona explains her situation to Larry and hopes he can help her.
