Laws of Gravity is a 1992 drama written and directed by Nick Gomez. The film is a glimpse into a three-day slice of the lives of Jimmy (Peter Greene) and Jon (Adam Trese), a pair of small-time Brooklyn crooks seeking to get away from their petty crime racket and into the big-time. When their old friend Frankie (Paul Schulze) returns from Florida with a load of handguns for them to sell on the street, Jimmy and Jon think they've finally got it made. The nature of their new illegal endeavor quickly creates rifts between family members and friends who don't approve of their new scheme, and the warnings soon become well-founded as deals begin to go south. Jimmy and Jon soon find themselves being pursued on all sides by both cops and criminals alike, and their venture to earn themselves some ill-gotten money soon evolves into a struggle for escape and survival.
