Leadville Gunslinger is a conventional black and white 1950's western movie, directed by Harry Keller. The story revolves around U.S. Marshal Rocky Lane (Allan Lane) who, after arriving in the small town of Leadville for a routine prisoner transfer, soon discovers that his old friend Nugget Clark (Eddy Waller) is in grave financial trouble and is about to lose his ranch. Clark believes that there is oil under his land; however, a local geologist has been in contact with him and has attempted to convince him that there is no oil on his property; thus, his land is worthless. Lane becomes suspicious of the geologist and begins to investigate. After discovering that the geologist is actually a criminal from a local gang, Lane decides to go undercover, posing as a travelling criminal, in order to infiltrate the gang. Lane's journey into the criminal group leads him to discover a larger conspiracy, driven by corruption and greed.
