League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen is the big budget, live action adaptation of the cult comic book favorite by guru Alan Moore (Watchmen, From Hell). A rogue's gallery of famous literary genre icons is assembled to stop a brewing world war, headlined by H. Rider Haggard's Allan Quatermain (Sean Connery, From Russian With Love, Goldfinger, The Rock, The Untouchables, The Avengers), and comprised of Jule's Verne's Captain Nemo (Naseeruddin Shah), Bram Stoker's Mina Harker (Peta Wilson, La Femme Nikita), H.G. Wells' Invisible Man (Tony Curran, Gladiator, Blade II), Dorian Gray (Stuart Townsend, Queen of the Damned), Mark Twain's Tom Sawyer (Shane West), and Robert Louis Stevenson's Dr. Henry Jekyll/Mr. Edward Hyde (Jason Flemyng, Snatch, Bruiser, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels). Together, this amazing team must defeat the notorious Fantom, who is staging the massive plot, armed with advanced ordnance for the period that the world may prove helpless against. Directed by Stephen Norrington (Blade, Death Machine).
