The Learning Curve is a 2001 dramatic crime thriller directed by Eric Schwab. In the film, Paul (Carmine Giovinazzo) and Georgia (Monet Mazur) meet at a Los Angeles bar and soon realize they have a lot in common, including their love of easy money. The duo team up and start running some successful scams. Unfortunately, one of their scam targets is Marshall (Vincent Ventresca), a movie producer who recognizes he's being conned right away and manages to turn the tables on the couple. Initially, Marshall is angry with Paul and Georgia, but because he is a smart businessman he decides not to turn them in to the police; instead he puts them on his payroll. Paul is happy to be part of a big organization, but Georgia is reluctant to join forces with Marshall. However, neither one of them has a choice because Marshall could turn them in at any moment.moreless
