Lebanon is a dramatic movie from director Samuel Maoz. The film is set in Israel and follows a group of Israeli paratroopers as they fight their way towards freedom. They are fighting in the First Lebanon War and it is quickly becoming extremely tense and their lives are being put in danger on a daily basis. Every day that they are able to wake up in the morning, they are thankful for, and then they get up and continue to fight. The four soldiers are given the orders to command a tank and must get inside of the tank and stay there for the foreseeable future. They take their new post to heart and hope that they can make it off of the frontline with their lives and their tank in tact. The four friends grow closer as they have to cope together with their increasing fear and their anger at the situation they are now in.
