PG-13

Legally Blonde 2: Red, White, & Blonde is the 2003 sequel to the 2001 American comedy, Legally Blonde. Directed by Charles Herman-Wurmfeld, the film stars Reese Witherspoon as Elle Woods, the fabulously blonde lawyer who turned the stiff Harvard Law School community on its head. This time, Elle takes on animal cruelty and big-money cosmetics corporations in her quest to reunite her pink-clad puppy, Bruiser, with his mother. Now working for Congresswoman Victoria Rudd (Sally Field), Elle is discovering that the American political world may not be all that she always believed it to be. Between cranky, up-tight co-workers who just cannot seem to grasp the essence of the Snap Cup and her Congresswoman's shady dealings with campaign donors, the odds are, once again, stacked against her. But Elle is not one to give up and, in true Delta Nu fashion, takes on the obstacles in her path with her head held high and her blond hair shining. Audiences are in for some big laughs with Legally Blonde 2: Red, White, & Blonde'join the party!

The script here just doesn't have sufficient smarts to pull off Elle's political triumph. But Witherspoon again makes a valiant show of selling it.
