Leon the Pig Farmer is a 1992 British comedy directed by Vadim Jean and Gary Sinyor and written by Michael Normand. In the film, Leon Geller (Mark Frankel) is a Jewish estate agent living in London. Leon's life is predictable and unremarkable, but he remains confused about who he is. However, one day he accidentally learns a family secret that puts in question everything he knows. After confirming with his mother, Judith Green (Janet Suzman), Leon decides what he must do to find out the truth for sure. His quest leads him to a pig farm in Yorkshire where he meets a few odd characters including a pig farmer, Brian Chadwick (Brian Glover), and his wife, Yvonne (Connie Booth). While in Yorkshire, Leon examines his life and tries to decide what type of man he wants to be going forward. What truth does Leon seek and what will he do to get it?
