PG-13
License To Drive is a classic 80's teen movie about a high school student that fails his driving exam but takes the family car out anyway, with disastrous results. Les Anderson (Corey Haim) is a 16 year kid with one thing on his mind: Mercedes Lane (Heather Graham). The girl crazy young high school secures a date with his dream girl, but he fails his driving test, putting a serious wrench in the plan. Les, determined to take advantage of this situation, lies to his parents, takes his Grampa's classic Cadillac, picks up Mercedes, and sets out to have a fun night, picking up his best buddy Dean (Corey Feldman) along the way. But everything goes wrong, and nothing goes according to plan, as the kids run into one disaster after another. Suffice it to say the night ends with the Cadillac destroyed, Mercedes drunk and passed out in the trunk, and Les with no explanation for his errant night of madness. License To Drive features two iconic teenage stars in their prime and a future star in her rise to fame for a blast right from the starting gun.moreless
