License to Wed is a 2007 American romantic comedy film by director Ken Kwapis, starring Robin Williams, Mandy Moore, John Krasinski, and Eric Christian Olsen is a star-packed, laugh-filled movie about the effort that goes into a marriage'even before the wedding day! Sadie Jones (Mandy Moore) has always wanted to get married in St. Augustine's, her familiy church. There's only one catch'before he'll marry them, Reverend Frank (Robin Williams) requires that Sadie and her fianc'e, Ben Murphy (John Krasinski) pass his prenuptial course. Between caring for robotic babies, attending classes designed to unearth tension, and abstaining from premarital sexual relations, the couple's nerves begin to wear a little thin. Will they make it through Reverend Frank's crash course and get the marriage of their dreams? Or will everything fall apart? Cute and sweet, License to Wed is a light-hearted romantic comedy that audiences will find easy to enjoy.

Pic is at best a relatively harmless way to enjoy air conditioning for those who admire Williams' ability to riff, even at his most irritating.

The only thing that kept me watching License to Wed until the end (apart from being paid to do so) was the faith, perhaps misplaced, that I will not see a worse movie this year.
