Like It Is is a 1998 film that takes place in Northern England and stars Steve Bell, Ian Rose, and The Who's Roger Daltrey. It begins with a mutual attraction between Matt (Ian Rose), an ambitious record promoter who travels to Blackpool to promote his roommate, and Craig (Steve Bell), a young boxer who makes his living there. Craig, though a tough bare-knuckled fighter, is inexperienced romantically and unsure how he feels about his homosexuality. Matt is busy promoting a new group and striving to realize his dream of owning a club of his own. The relationship has a difficult time getting off the ground, and matters are further complicated when Matt's boss Kelvin (Roger Daltrey) tries to keep the couple apart for his own gain. Between working for a shady boss, dealing with personal insecurities, and the presence of other men, will the Matt and Craig ever be able to make their relationship work?
