Bishop Bilodeau (Marcel Sabourin) travels to a quŽbŽcois prison under the impression that he is to hear the final confession of a dying prisoner. However, when he arrives at the prison he is surpised by and met with is childhood friend Simon (Aubert Pallascio) who was convicted of murder over forty years ago. The prelate unknowingly walks into an evil and dangerous trap where he is forced to relive and confront the truth about his troubled and dark past. Bilodeau is reunited with his one-time crush, and childhood friend, Simon and is kidnapped by the inmates and is forced to watch a reenactment of his former life and what really happened in 1912. This former love triangle that included Bilodeau shows how Simon was once in love with a countess' son, Vallier (Danny Gimore) but in fear of his father's wrath, Simon marries a Parisian woman. Vallier, who is encouraged by his mother, attends the engagement to declare his true love for Simon and the watchful Bilodeau waits in the wings.moreless
