Live at the Rock 'n' Roll Palace: Vol 1 is a compilation of some of the best in classic music from the 1950's and 60's, featuring performances from some of the best known artists from that generation. Filmed live at the Rock 'n' Roll Palace in Orlando, Florida, this film presents some of the most beloved artists performing their signature hits, including The Coasters, Del Shannon and Tommy Sands. This vintage footage brings the earliest rock 'n' roll stars together for a night of legendary music. The Coasters, early rock stars that have influenced generations of musicians, will thrill fans with their live performances of their hit songs "Yakkity Yak" and "Young Blood." Del Shannon, known for his famous falsetto, gives a remarkable performance of his 1961 hit song "Hats Off to Larry" and a wonderful rendition of "Handy Man." With perhaps one of the most famous songs from that generation, Bryan Hyland thrills audiences with a rousing rendition of his hit song "Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka Dot Bikini." For fans of live music, and particularly fans of early rock 'n' roll, this film is not to be missed.moreless
