The proceedings are emceed by radio legend Wolfman Jack. Included in the film are many acts from the golden age of rock and roll. The Platters belt out their hits "Smoke Gets in Your Eyes" and "Sixteen Tons." Joey Dee has the crowd hopping to his hit "Peppermint Twist." Del Shannon performs his provocative hit "Little Town Flirt." The Coasters bring their singular style to chart-toppers "Poison Ivy" and "Charlie Brown."
