Lone Runner is a 1986 action film from Italian director Ruggero Deodato. Analisa Summerking (Savina Gersak), the daughter of a wealthy Moroccan family, has been kidnapped. Her Arabian kidnappers seek a pricy ransom from her father (Donald Hodson), to be paid in priceless diamonds. With his trusty crossbow and exploding bolts on-hand, bounty hunter Garrett (Miles O'Keeffe), better known as "the Lone Runner," rides to her rescue - just as he has done once before. Garrett faces many obstacles on his journey, including frequent encounters with a thief named Misha (Ronald Lacey) and another gang of bandits seeking to kidnap Analisa and claim the diamond ransom for themselves. As Analisa swaps hands between one set of kidnappers and the other, the Lone Runner follows her trail and plots her rescue. Can a lone man singlehandedly turn the tide against two criminal groups, or will the Summerking fortune be traded for a daughter's life?
