Lost Boys: The Tribe is the 2008 sequel to 1987's vampire movie The Lost Boys. When surfer Chris Emerson (Tad Hilgenbrink) loses his professional surfing career, he and his younger sister Nicole (Autumn Reeser) have nowhere else to go. Since their parents died in a car accident, they rely only on each other for support. Together they move to Luna Bay, where Aunt Jillian (Gabrielle Rose) gives them discounted rent on a dilapidated beach house. While Chris goes looking for a job, Nicole meets a man from town who, in a failed attempt at flirting, warns her about Luna Bay's creepy residents. Little do Chris and Nicole realize that the quiet beach town is actually home to a tribe of vampires who also enjoy surfing. Their leader, famed surfer Shane (Angus Sutherland), meets Chris on the beach and invites Chris and Nicole to a party. Although Chris has his doubts about Shane and the rest of the party, Nicole is glad to make a new friend. When the evening ends with a fight, Chris is even more apprehensive about the tribe. What he does not know is that Nicole is already under the spell of the surfing vampires. When Edgar Frog (Corey Feldman), the local surfboard builder turned vampire hunter appears and tries to explain the situation to Chris, Chris must figure out a way to save his sister's soul and make Luna Beach safe for other surfers.
