Movie Summary

Director:
Darren Lemke
Released:
2004
Rating:
R

Lost is an edge-of-your-seat thriller from first-time director Darren Lemke about a man on a mysterious journey across the Mojave desert that for some reason takes far longer than a normal trip should and becomes far more dangerous, too. Dean Cain plays the straight-and-narrow businessman Jeremy Stanton, a man with eight hours to make it across the desert to his wife and family. Along the way he receives conflicting directions from a road map and a telephone route-finding service, which lead him further off track in the flat expanses of California desert. As the film progresses, the viewer learns Jeremy's position isn't as normal as it seems. There's a stone cold killer on his trail, pursuing him along his meandering path. His wife seems to know a secret she's afraid of sharing, and Jeremy himself may not be as innocent as he appears. Lost co-stars Ashley Scott and Danny Trejo in this subtle and scary highway thriller about the dangers of the open road.
