Love Comes Lately is a film about love, based on the writings of Nobel Prize winner Isaac Bashevis Singer. The star of this movie is Max Kohn. Kohn plays Otto Tausig, a writer in his eighties who continues to live with youthful motivation and passion. Led by his vivid imagination, Tausige's youthful desire to pursue his love life leads to the risk of losing the one he truly loves (Reisel, played by Rhea Perlman). Tausig begins to edit his new work about a mischievious Miami retiree. Sooner than later he becomes lost in his own work, mistaking his story for reality. He finds himself entangled in two romances and an unsolved murder case. Other characters featured in this film are Dr. Grosskopf (John Venemma), Sylvia Brokeles (Olivia Thirlby), Max's neighbor (Bunny Levine), Window Repairman (Brad Lee Wind), and more. Love Comes Lately is a delightful and humorous film about a man who needs to find his true identity.
