Love on the Side is a romantic comedy that revolves around Hog-Chow Diner manager, Eve Stuckley (Marla Sokoloff). Eve hopes for a better life, which would include the man of her dreams, local hunk Jeff Sweeney (Barry Watson). On the hottest day of the year, the blazingly gorgeous Linda Avery (Monika Schnarre) appears in Eve's small town, raising the men's temperatures even higher. Amongst Linda's sudden suitors are Jeff and Chuck (Jonathan Cherry), Eve's much less intelligent brother. Linda, however, is only interested in Eve, who continues to lust after her crush, Sweeney. A confused Eve approaches her longtime friend Alma Kerns (Jennifer Tilly), who advises her to utilize Linda's desire for her to draw Jeff's affections. Meanwhile, Jeff learns of Linda's intentions and enlists Chuck to help him prevent Linda from fulfilling her desires. Chuck is characteristically confused about the real situation, leading to a showdown between Jeff and Linda over Eve's affections.moreless
