This is a documentary on the golden age of Harlem jazz features some of the all-time great jazz musicians. In this documentary is playing at some of the most infamous dancehalls of the jazz age. You will see performances from such world-renowned artists as Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, Billie Holiday, Dizzy Gillespie, and more. All of the footage on this video is from live recordings at the Cotton Club, the Apollo Theater, or the Savoy Ballroom. This documentary travels to the birth of R&B to the Apollo.
