Lymelife is a 2009 independent film by Derick and Steven Martini. Mickey (Alec Baldwin) and Brenda (Jill Hennessy) Bartlett are residents of small Long Island town where there has been a recent epidemic of lyme disease. The spreading ailment causes paranoia to run through the town and the Bartletts come face to face with it when their neighbor Charlie Bragg (Timothy Hutton) is diagnosed. Charlie is unable to work so his wife Melissa (Cynthia Nixon) takes a job working for Mickey. Mickey and Brenda are having marital problems stemming from Mickey's infidelity and matters are made worse when Mickey hires Melissa in an attempt to sleep with her. Amidst the affairs and the lyme disease, the Bartlett's son Scott and the Bragg's daughter Adrianna (Emma Roberts) become more romantically involved. Things get worse when Scott sees Mickey and Melissa together and he must keep the affair a secret.
