Ma Vie En Rose is a dramatic comedy and award-winning Belgian film that was produced by Canal+ and written and directed by Alain Berliner and co-written by Chris Bander Stappen.This whimsical comedy took the international film festival circuit by storm and went on to win the Golden Globe for Best Foreign Film. Ludovic Fabre (Georges Du Fresne) is an innocent seven year old who holds true to his conviction that he is a girl trapped in a boy's body. Ludovic chooses to express his inner female by choosing to wear women's clothes and regularly acts like a girl. He incessantly talks about marrying the neighbor's son but doesn't understand everyone's surprise that he is met with. Ludovic goes about his cross-dressing ways unaware of the surrounding chaos he obliviously creates. His innocent actions continue to create problems for him and his family in this charming, international sleeper hit comedic yet heartfelt drama.
