Made for Each Other is a 1971 romantic comedy that was written by and stars Joseph Bologna and Renee Taylor. The story revolves around two hapless thirty-somethings, Pandora Gold (Renee Taylor) and Gig Pimimba (Joseph Bologna), who just cannot seem to find their way in life. They meet at a group therapy session, and although they seem like complete opposites, they form a fast connection. There are no romantic blinders for this couple as they quickly see each other at their worst. Gig endures one of Pandora's bizarre acting performances where she changes her character based on the whim of the audience. Similarly painful, Pandora suffers through an excruciating family dinner with Gig's parents until Gig's mother orders her out of the house. At times, it seems like the pair wishes that they were not drawn to each other, yet the relationship persists. As the duo evolves, viewers are left to wonder if they will grow closer or if they will eventually drift apart.moreless
