Madison is director William Bindley's new family hit intended for all audiences in all age groups. The film follows the deteriorated hydroplane cleverly dubbed "Miss Madison" and its entrance into the 1971 Gold Cup Championship race. Jim McCormick (James Caviezel) is the simple-minded man who attempts to propel the hydroplane to victory. Supported by his loving wife Bonnie (Mary McCormack) and caring son Mike (Jake Lloyd), Jim sets out to win the sought after $50,000 grand prize backed by the people of the town. Tensions are high as Jim quits his job to enter the race, a move that could put his entire family into financial jeopardy. The film keeps its viewers on their toes as Jim fights to survive in the competitive world of hydroplane racing. No matter the outcome, Jim manages to inspire both his son and the town.
