Maha Badmaash is a 1977 Indian Bollywood film about a mysterious villain's schemes against an honest casino owner. A shadowy villain named Mogambho (Shetty) organizes a variety of nefarious schemes, from extorting money from businessmen to torturing innocent women. Then he takes aim at the honest casino owner, Ratan (Vinod Khanna). Mogambho sends his henchmen to recruit Ratan for an evil scheme, but the honorable Ratan refuses to be a pawn. In retaliation, Mogambho frames Ratan for the murder of the henchman, Mamba (Rajan Haksar), and with the aid of fudged photographs, blackmails Ratan into following Mogambho's commands. In preparation for his mission, Ratan undergoes a tough training regimen, including learning how to hold his breath for extended periods of time and suffering through freezing temperatures. All of Ratan's training builds up to a master plan to murder the Police Commissioner. Ratan must choose to commit cold-blooded murder or face the pain of the evil Moghambo's wrath.
