Make Mine Mink is a comedy film from 1960 about a group of retirees that live together in a boarding house. A mink coat suddenly turns up in their midst and they suspect their maid Lili (Billie Whiteclaw) has fallen back into her old life of crime. They decide to return the coat to the owner before Lili is accused of the theft. This act sets the group on fire for a new scheme. With military precision, Major Albert Rayne (Terry-Thomas) gathers the folks together with the urging of Athlene Seyler (Beatrice Appleby). They decide that they will continue to steal mink coats, but only from criminals, and any money they earn will go to charity. The gang gets a new lease on life as they take to their mission. They sneak around town in all kinds of crazy disguises to steal minks and give to charity. Will the police get upset when they realize a gang is stealing mink coats? To find out what happens in this crazy comedy, watch Make Mine Mink for a few hours of laughter.moreless
