Make the Yuletide Gay is the story of Olaf "Gunn" Gunnunderson (Keith Jordan), a gay college student madly in love with his sweetheart Nathan Stanford (Adamo Ruggiero). When the boys say goodbye to each other and travel back home for Christmas break, Nathan soon realizes that all he really wants for Christmas is to be with Gunn. Nathan's parents take an impromptu trip to Israel for the holidays, leaving Nathan all alone. He decides to venture out to Wisconsin to be with Gunn and his family. When Nathan is greeted at the door by Gunn's half-naked, pot-smoking father Sven (Derek Long), he realizes that perhaps Nathan's family is a bit more intense than he expected. Gunn is not out to his otherwise oblivious parents, but Derek and Kelly (Kelly Keaton) happily welcome Nathan into their home. Failing to keep his sexuality a secret, Nathan decides that perhaps Gunn is best left alone with his family during the holidays. Directed by Rob Williams, Make the Yuletide Gay has won audience awards at film festivals around the world, including FilmOut San Diego, Seoul LGBT Film Festival, and Philadelphia QFest.moreless
