Making the Grade is a 1984 comedy film that focuses on a rich teenager, Palmer Woodrow (Dana Olsen). After having been kicked out of many prep schools, his parents send Palmer to Hoover Academy, telling him if he does not graduate from there, they are going to cut him off financially. Meanwhile, Eddie Keaton (Judd Nelson) is a young hustler, looking to get away from his bookie, Dice (Andrew Dice Clay). Seeing that Eddie needs the money, Palmer convinces to Eddie to impersonate him at Hoover Academy, hiring him for $10,000 and a Porsche. Palmer then leaves to Europe for a ski vacation. Eddie arrives at the school, and is almost immediately liked by everyone, even catching the attention of the female students. But when Dice tracks him down, Eddie is forced to keep up his facade as Palmer while avoiding a very angry Dice. Will Eddie's cover be blown? To find out, watch Making the Grade.
