Making Waves was produced by Eden Films and was filmed in Blackheath, London, England. The film follows a group of ham radio users and enthusiasts who exaggerate their personalities on air in order to make friends of fellow ham radio users. When they meet, however, they do not quite live up the huge personas they created over the ham radio waves. The film has several awkward moments and keeps you nervously on edge as these bigger than life characters meet their real life counter parts. This film is great for all of the ham radio enthusiasts out there or for anyone who has ever had to live up to an exaggerated persona of their own. It also introduces the audience to the absolute basics of ham radio and the reasons why people use them. The film is written and directed by Nicolas Van Pallandt. It stars Robert Hardy, Martin Fosstrum and Richard Kinsey.
