Mallrats is an American comedy film made in 1995 by Kevin Smith and starring Jason Lee, Jeremy London, Clair Forlani and Shannen Doherty. T.S. (London) was about to propose to his girlfriend Brandi (Forlani) on the Jaws ride at Universal Studios... that is until she promised her father that she'd go on his sappy dating show. Having called it off, T.S. heads to his best friend Brodie's (Lee) who has also just gotten dumped by his girlfriend Rene (Doherty). Together they head to the only place that can heal all wounds, the mall. But all is not well at their usual hangout. Brandi is shooting the dating show there, Brodie finds out Rene is sleeping with his arch-nemesis clothing store manager (Ben Affleck) and the whole time they are hounded by mall's security. Luckily they'll have some help from the notorious Jay and Silent Bob, who planned on wrecking the stage anyway in an act of stylized rebellion. Even Stan Lee offers some help. Can Brodie and T.S. fight to keep the girls they love? Or will they be rats all their lives?moreless
