Man Accused is a 1959 crime film from director Montgomery Tully. This is the story of a well-to-do baroness, Kathy Riddle (Carol Marsh) who's on the brink of inheriting some very expensive jewels. Kathy has recently become engaged to an engineer named Bob Jenson (Ronald Herald). The family lawyer attends the gala engagement party with a friend who is an insurance investigator. The investigator realizes that he recognizes the groom-to-be as a jewel thief from a case he worked on in South America. Not only does he know Bob is a thief, but he also believes he could be a murderer. Bob is arrested for these crimes and decides to break free from jail to prove his innocence. He begins to do his own search for the real thief and murderer. Bob must prove to the police and to Kathy that he is innocent of the crimes he's been accused of.
