In gratitude, Vince promises to repay the debt by cutting him in on a million dollar deal. Fast forward eight years and we find Matt stuck in an unhappy marriage to Nina (Stella Stevens), a slutty, thirty-something, drunk. Vince, Matt's Korean War buddy, suddenly reappears to fulfill his promise of fortune. He lets Matt in on his plan to go to Central America and recover $3.4 million dollars stolen by enemies of a Central American dictator. Matt is initially hesitant, but overcomes his reticence after a particularly nasty argument with his wife. He agrees to go to Central America with Vince, provided there are no guns involved. Vince and Matt now face the biggest challenge of their lives as they struggle to survive in the jungles of Central America.
