Manna from Heaven is a 2002 comedy and parable about a town that has to deal with their love for money and their broken relationships with one another. On a random spring day, a neighborhood in Buffalo, New York is surprised by a shower of twenty dollar bills falling from the sky. The neighbors greedily gather up everything they can get their hands on, except for one little girl, Theresa (Ursula Burton). She believes the money is a gift from God. Years later, Theresa becomes a nun and receives a message from God that the time has come for the townspeople to return the loan. She approaches the town telling them that the money was not theirs to keep and that they must return it now. However, no one has saved the money and the townspeople in general do not like each other and do not know how to work together. Theresa must unite the city if they are to answer to God's calling and respond to his generosity.
