Marci X is a 2003 comedy film starring Lisa Kudrow and Damon Wayans directed by Richard Benjamin. Ben Feld (Richard Benjamin) owns a rap record label named Felony Assault. The new song "Shoot Ya' Teacha", sung by the label's controversial hardcore rapper Dr. S (Damon Wayans), which is short for Dr. Snatchcatcher, gets released by his label causing a public outrage. Ben Feld gets rushed to the hospital, because the stress from the public outcry makes Ben have a heart attack. Marci Feld (Lisa Kudrow), a spoiled Jewish American Princess, is now forced to take over her father Ben's hardcore rap label so that the business stock does not continue to plummet. Marci tries to rescue the business by changing the image of hardcore rapper Dr. S. Marci is hindered in this effort by a conservative Senator Mary Ellen Spinkle (Christine Baranski) and by the label's artist Dr. S. Marci will do whatever it takes to succeed including taking on a rap challenge herself.moreless

Despite the occasional topical reference to President Bush and Sen. Clinton, this movie is, like, so eight years ago, it isn't funny.
