Martin Romero: El Rapido is a 1966 Mexican Western film directed by Jaime Salvador. Courage, romance and intense action are the things that drive Martin Romero (Fernando Casanova), who has earned the nickname "The Quick" (El Rapido) through his bravery and agility. The gunman proves himself a gracious man with a noble heart when he agrees to help the owner of the local newspaper in the town of Santa Maria. The old man fears for his life and for his beautiful daughter Andrea (Maria Duval) following threats from the town chief, who has hired a vicious criminal to kill him. Martin Romero and his partner, Pinole (Armando Soto la Marina), must fight brutal and merciless gunmen if they want to put an end to the injustice that is going on in Santa Maria. He must employ the best of his agility, accuracy and charming personality if he is to emerge on the winning side of this conflict.
